Grandmotherhood
Sylvia can now be referred to as Granny or Oma Muiznieks. Grandson Leif Muiznieks was born in Cape Coral, Florida on April 29th and Allistair Muiznieks was born on May 28th in Calgary.
Busy Year of Trainings
Sylvia appreciates the opportunities that this year will offer her to teach across Canada and abroad - she looks forward to interacting with BodyTalk Practitioners in South Africa, England, Austria, Germany, Australia, Singapore, and New Zealand. And of course, she will continue to teach across Canada -- during 2008, classes will be held in Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Saskatoon, Toronto, Teeswater, and Victoria.
Sylvia Appointed as Vice President for Academic Studies
At the 2007 IBA Conference in August, Sylvia was appointed as the Vice President of Academic Studies for the International BodyTalk Association. Previously, she had served as the Junior Vice President for the past four years.
Advanced Modules Integration Course
Sylvia is one of three Senior Instructors who has been approved to teach the new Advanced Modules Integration course (AMI), an integration of all the concepts of the advanced BodyTalk courses; it serves as a preparatory course for the Advanced CBP certification.
Sylvia's first AMI courses will be taught in Calgary (December 8-11, 2007), Pretoria (March 1-4, 2008) and Toronto (April 10-13, 2008).
CASS Approved Courses
All Sylvia's BodyTalk Modules 1 & 2, Module 3, Module 5, Module 6 and Module 9 trainings are now CASS-approved, as is her distance Anatomy & Physiology for BodyTalkers course (Modules 1, 2, & 3).

MindScape for Children Course
Sylvia has designed and offers a one-day MindScape course for children aged 9 to 12. Students will learn a life-long tool that will train and enhance the mind, to improve performance in all areas. They will be led through the building of a Workshop in their minds and then spend time learning and working with many of the mental tools. The class is primarily hands-on to ensure that the young participants know how to apply the techniques in daily life after they get back home.
Imagine being given the opportunity to expand the mind and unleash its incredible power at such an early age!

Sylvia is looking forward to visitng Australia again this October to teach Module 6 and 5 in melborune and Module 3 and Mindscape in Brisbane. The TV interview tooik place in a park that is about a 10-minute walk away from where Rosilyn Kinnersley lives.
Sylvia's Consciousness/BodyTalk Module 3 CD is Now Available
Sylvia's new CD is now available for purchase through the IBA website. The Consciousness CD provides an overview of the role that Consciousness, the Five Senses, Emotions, Belief Systems and Dualistic Thinking play in the manifestation of disease and imbalance in the Bodymind - and how BodyTalk utilizes all these components to restore balance. This one-hour CD will help BodyTalkers delve more fully into the Consciousness Links and Definitions that are essential in building powerful Advanced BodyTalk formulas.
